The Central Pennsylvania Humane Society relies solely on donations of supplies and funding from the community to carry out our mission.

Our wishlist contains the items that we always need. While many of the items on our list appear very practical (i.e. paper towels, copy paper, Clorox), they are nonetheless essential items to ensure the best care for our animals.

2026 Chili Fest & Wings
Saturday, January 24th
VIP can enter at 5pm and General Admission at 6pm - Event Ends at 10pm
Bavarian Aid Society Grand Ballroom
Join our panel of judges as they crown the top three chilis and wings—and cast your own vote for the People’s Choice Awards! Enjoy an exciting evening filled with friendly competition, great food, and live entertainment by Shallow 9. General admission tickets are $25, and VIP tickets are $40. Tickets can be purchased at the shelter, online below, or at the Altoona and Hollidaysburg locations of Thompson's Pharmacy. Only 500 tickets will be sold, so secure yours early!
