The Central Pennsylvania Humane Society relies solely on donations of supplies and funding from the community to carry out our mission.

Our wishlist contains the items that we always need. While many of the items on our list appear very practical (i.e. paper towels, copy paper, Clorox), they are nonetheless essential items to ensure the best care for our animals.

On August 28th 2017 our CPHS fur babies were presented with an overwhelming gift of kindness from Lennys Classic Car Collection LCCC! Our van was no longer safe to drive our animals to Vet appointments and events so the cool cats from LCCC presented this amazingly refurbished one to the shelter. Lenny & Frankie Fiore hold Aston & Martina whom the van is in honor of. Check out their caricatures on the back of the van. We are speechless… Thank You to Lennys Classic Car Collection crew Wayne & Chris who did all the refurbishing and made it look Brand New, Kirk Leidy & Assoc for the artwork design,, Autodv8ions for tinting the windows for the animals, Courtesy Chrysler Dodge Jeep Nissan for inspecting it and Jack White Signs for helping with the graphic artwork application.. And a VERY SPECIAL THANK YOU TO ASTON & MARTINA’S MOMMY & DADDY! When asked why give to the animal shelter, a very wise and generous man said “because when an animal is rescued, it’s not only the animal that’s rescued, but the owner too”!

The CPHS fur babies were very saddened today by the news of their dear friend Martina (on the left) crossing the Rainbow Bridge on July 30th 2020. Aston & Martina were & will ever be our animals Besties! Rest in Peace Dear Girl, and God Bless Mom, Dad, Wayne, Chris, Dan & especially Aston to find peace & fill the hole your loss has left in their hearts. Thank You dear girl for being our friend. - The CPHS Fur Babies.
